Privacy

Here at Sight Seeker’s Paris we take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to run internal analytics, to administer your account, and to provide the products and services you have requested from us. Your data is not (and never will be) shared or sold with any third party.

Note that we do not access or keep on file any client credit card information.

We may process personal data updated by travelers on our software, which may include for example:

  • Contact information
  • Travel arrangement information
  • Referral source information
  • Online review information
  • Services purchased
  • etc.

We ensure that our employees who have access to the personal data have committed themselves to confidentiality about everything they learn while processing personal data for analytical reasons.

We ensure that the appropriate technical measures are in place to ensure a level of security of all personal data – a level of security appropriate to the risk, taking into account the state of the art, the cost of implementation and the nature, scope, context and purpose of processing as well as the risk of varying likelihood and severity for the rights and freedoms of natural persons.

For the purposes of preventing and limiting damage caused by human error, theft, fraud and other abuse, we implement and maintain the ability to ensure the ongoing confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of processing systems and services.

We will notify clients without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach and will take reasonable steps to mitigate the effects and to minimize any damage resulting from such breach.

We will inform clients where personal data is stored upon request. We may transfer personal data outside the European Economic area, however only if such transfer is to an entity in a country that provides an adequate level of personal data protection within the meaning of Data Protection Legislation or the entity: (a) is part of the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework; or (b) uses Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission.

We will, upon request, erase the Personal Data where the data is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected, unless otherwise required by law.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
