Restaurants to make your Instagram stand out: we’ve got you covered.
Oh, Instagram! This has got to be our favorite social media site, here at Sight Seeker’s Delight.
If you’re anything like me or millions of other users, it’s one of your favorites as well!
Instagram is filled with pretty sunsets, stylish fashion, literally MILLIONS of cute puppies… and of course, food!
There are actually hundreds of millions of posts with tags like #food and #foodporn. And food tourism is a real thing – maybe you participatee in it yourself! Or maybe you’re one of the 70% of millenials who take photos of their food before eating it.
The yummy stuff is what I’m here to talk about today, people. I’m coming at you with my top 5 most Instagrammable restaurants in Paris so that your pictures will be looking so pretty it will make all your friends and followers jealous!
If I was cynical, I’d say, and isn’t that what social media is all about?! 😉
1. Used Book Café at Merci
This gem is nestled in one of those secret Parisian courtyards that we all know and love! That’s part of what makes it so beautiful to take pictures of. Nice scenery + ‘hidden’ aspect? That’s a powerful combination.
With a very tasty food and drink menu and plenty of books to choose from… you can see why we love this place so much.
If you’re a bookworm and a foodie all rolled into one, look no further: the Used Book Cafe place is for you!
- Address: 111 Boulevard Beaumarchais, 75003 Paris
- Open: Mon – Sat 10am – 7pm
2. Derrière
When I think the word ‘kitsch’, this restaurant immediately comes to mind.
One step inside, and you’ll see why!
Imagine going to your quirky cousin’s house for a cup of tea… but now imagine this cousin lives in Paris, they have great and eclectic taste along with a big budget… and they have a personal chef.
This is pretty much Derrière, and you’ll love it! It’s a super unique place to have a snack or meal. With its mismatched chairs, cozy corners to curl up with a book (or a yummy breakfast or lunch!), you’ll be sold immediately!
And don’t forget to take pictures. This especially applies if you wind up in the ‘bedroom’ section of Derrière.
- Address: 69 Rue des Gravilliers, 75003 Paris
- Open: Mon – Sat noon-2:30pm & 8pm-1am, Sun noon-4pm & 8-11pm
3. Hotel Amour
Hotel Amour is a hop skip and a jump away from the Pigalle neighborhood in Paris, otherwise known as the home of the infamous Moulin Rouge.
The translation is Love Hotel! You might put two and two together and come to some pretty… interesting… conclusions. But I assure you, Hotel Amour is classy and wonderful!
So, maybe you’ve just finished our Time Travel to Montmartre tour and you’re looking for a good place to sit your booty down to eat and drink…look no further!
Hotel Amour is perfect, especially if you’re looking to add a little something to your Instagram newsfeed. There’s a cozy hidden courtyard sprinkled with palm trees and red leather chairs, making it perfect for your next photo or story.
- Address: 8 Rue de Navarin, 75009 Paris
- Open: Every day 8am-2am
4. Umami Matcha Café
Do you like brunch? Do you like matcha? Do you like taking photos of your brunch while sipping on a matcha beverage?!
Even if you didn’t answer yes to any of those questions (though I know you did!), Umami Matcha Café should ablsolutely be on your list of cafes to Instagram in Paris.
Following the Californian trends such as avocado toast and quinoa oatmeal, this Parisian brunch hotspot will have all of your followers and friends wishing they were as lucky as you.
PS: this place is all natural, so all you healthy eaters out there, rejoice!
- Address: 22 Rue Béranger, 75003 Paris
- Open: Tue-Sun 10am-7pm
5. Le Bal Café Otto
With delicious looking salads, and even more appetizing looking cakes, Le Bal Café Otto had us at hello!
Oh, and also, at their cheesecake! If you live in France…you know how hard it can be to find the real deal (for the good stuff you have to make it yourself, really).
This place is also especially known for its brunch, so we suggest you try to get over there over the weekend to try it out…and to take your Instagram worthy photos!
- Address: 6 Impasse de la Défense, 75018 Paris
- Open: Wed-Fri noon-10pm, Sat-Sun 11am-7pm
