James

James

Officially, James came to Paris to follow in the footsteps of his artistic heroes, to study at an internationally renowned theatre school and to develop and grow through experiencing another culture. Unofficially, James came to Paris for the wine, winding streets, waining patience with his native London and for the wine.

James has a degree in English literature and philosophy and a passion for books, stories, and the quirky anecdotes of history. Paris, with its rich and varied history of writers and artists, revolution and scandal, has proved to be a city of endless fascination to him, as well as his adopted home.

When he’s not sharing his favorite stories and anecdotes about Paris, James will be rehearsing with his theatre company or doing his best to remain undercover as a Brit, either playing boules on the banks of canal or ensconced in the corner of some quiet café with a book and a coffee.
