2016 means new tours, new faces, and a lot of fun

Bonjour Seekers! Happy New Year from Paris. We have so many exciting things happening for us over here that I’m not sure where to begin!

Happy 2016 Eiffel tower
First off, our brand-spankin’ new website just launched a couple days ago (as you can see, because you’re on it right now!). We are so excited and hope that everyone loves it just as much as we do! Claire and her loyal team in the USA have been working tirelessly to bring a whole new face to our little company, and I’m so happy with the result. What do you think? Let us know!

Like Parisian gardens in the springtime, we have a handful of brand new tours blossoming for our Seekers to come and discover with us. I have had dreams for years now about expanding to different areas of Paris and discovering new Parisian goodies to dazzle you with… now I am making that a reality:

Through a lot of hard work and fun research, we are gearing up to divulge our Versailles Garden tour for the spring season. We’re still working out a few kinks and we of course need to come up with a cute tour name… but that will be sooner than later! This tour should be ready to go by the time the garden groves open back up in the spring.

Coinciding with this exciting Versailles news was a totally chance encounter that I have been dying to tell you all about! By totally random chance, I met Steph a few months ago. Who is Steph do you ask? Well, I’m pretty sure she is just an angel fallen from the sky! She just so happens to be a Versailles expert, and is going to collaborate on our Versailles script. She just so happens to be doing her thesis on Jewish History, and will be adding to the Jewish History tour and becoming a guide! PEOPLE… You have no idea how much I am over the moon about Steph! She’s funny, bright, friendly, easy to talk to, and I promise you are going to love her.

What’s more (and this is big news for Sight Seeker’s Delight), by the end of the year she will be a licensed guide and we will be able to offer exclusive inside tours of all museums that France has doors for! There are over 2000 of them by the way – more than any country in the world. Read Steph’s bio here, so you can start getting just as excited as I am.

The cherry on top of the Sight Seeker’s Delight pastry is: I have also finally found the cookbook author/ chef/cooking teacher that I have been searching for! Believe it or not, she just so happens to be my distant cousin, too! (Honestly, the luck that has found me lately is incredible).

I ran into Alisa a few years ago at a tiny dinner party in Paris. Just recently, we’ve decided to work together and now basically my very own Willy Wonka (only way better) will be giving three new tasting tours, plus her own amazing cooking classes! Alisa’s bio speaks volumes on how amazing she is and how much of a culinary genius she is.

Alisa Morov
As you know, Obsessive Chocolate Disorder has been revealed and don’t worry, the others will come soon. I’m not going to tell you what they are because I know I need to keep you hungry for more…

Seekers… I am just literally over the moon about my new additions to my already extraordinary team. 2016 is going to be an amazing year, and I hope to share it with all of you whether you come visit us in Paris, follow us on Facebook, or join our newsletter! Thank you so much as always, and big love to you from Paris.
